Waraporn Phetchareon

"I came in without much expectation — I just wanted to understand whether I had any options regarding a pension claim that had been sitting unresolved for several months. The session was unhurried. The written summary they gave me was genuinely useful and I kept referring back to it. I went with the formal response service afterwards, and the matter moved forward in a way it hadn't before."
Pension Review Session · May 2025
Kittipong Thanomsak
Lamphun Province
"Good experience overall. I had received a letter from the Social Security Office about my pension that I found hard to interpret, and I was not sure how to respond. Munkhong Rak prepared the response for me. They showed me a draft before sending and explained what each part meant. It took a few weeks but the outcome was what I had hoped for."

"I appreciated that they never tried to push me into anything. I had the review session in February, thought about it for a few weeks, and then came back when I was ready. There was no pressure in between. We are now about four months into the long-term support and they have been consistent — I hear from them before I need to ask."

Somjit Pongpan
Chiang Mai, retired civil servant
"I had a specific question about my pension from my years in government service. The session was about ninety minutes. The adviser was patient and thorough. The summary they wrote up covered everything we had discussed, and it helped me explain the situation to my family later. I did not need further legal support in the end, but I felt clear about why."

Mana Charoenwong
Doi Saket, Chiang Mai
"I found the process for the formal response slightly longer than I had hoped, but the team kept me updated throughout and the final documents were well prepared. I had not been confident engaging with the pension authority directly — having them handle the drafting meant I could stay involved in the decisions without managing the correspondence myself."

"What stood out was how clearly they explained the written summary. I came to the session expecting technical language and left with a document I could actually read and understand. I have recommended the review session to two colleagues who were in similar situations."

A few client journeys
Details have been generalised to protect confidentiality. These reflect the kinds of matters we work with regularly.
The challenge
A retired employee in Chiang Mai received a letter from their former employer's pension administrator querying the basis of a payment. They had no experience with formal pension correspondence and were unsure whether to respond or seek advice first.
The approach
We began with a review session to understand the history and the nature of the query. A formal response was then drafted with supporting documentation. The client reviewed and approved the draft before submission. Total elapsed time: three weeks from session to submission.
The outcome
The pension administrator accepted the response and the matter was closed without further correspondence. The client told us the written summary from the review session had helped them explain the situation to family members.
"I would not have known where to start if I had tried to write that response myself. They handled it calmly and kept me in the loop."
The challenge
A client approaching retirement age was uncertain about the status of contributions from a period of self-employment. They had heard conflicting accounts from different sources and needed reliable clarity before deciding whether to pursue a claim.
The approach
A review session was held. The written summary set out what appeared to be the client's entitlement, what was uncertain, and what would be needed to pursue the question formally. The client chose to proceed and we prepared a formal information request to the relevant authority.
The outcome
The authority confirmed the contribution record and a previously unclaimed amount was identified. The client was able to make an informed decision about their retirement arrangements with accurate information in hand.
"I left the review session with more clarity than I had in two years of asking around. The written summary was the most useful document I had received on the subject."
